Iran Oscar winner to hold Tehran workshop under wife management

Oscar winning Iranian director Asghar Farhadi is due to hold cinematic workshop in Iranian capital city of Tehran.

The film production workshop will be held at the Bamdad International House with his wife Parisa Bakhtavar serving as the head of the foundation.

Those who would like to attend his workshop should pass an interview conducted by the internationally celebrated Iranian director whose latest work ‘Everybody Knows’ met huge success following release on international screens.

“Everybody Knows” narrates the journey of Carolina as she travels with her family from Buenos Aires to her hometown in Spain for a celebration. Meant to be a brief visit, the trip is disturbed by unforeseen events that will completely change the lives of Carolina and her family.

Born in 1972, Farhadi is an Iranian film director and screenwriter.He won double Oscars for his features 'The Salesman' and 'A Separation'. Among other accolades, he has received a Golden Globe award.
